Use Your Stash - Making Room For The New

Welcome to the Use Your Stash Blog Hop.  If you are coming from Tabbi's Blog you are on the right track!

If you get lost along the way you can see the entire list of hoppers on Joy’s Blog. Let's get started.

Today I am showcasing a fun way to use your older paper with a rolled paper wreath! If you are a paper hoarder I suggest you make one of these (or better yet, one for each season). Not only will they be a beautiful addition to your home but you'll also use up some of that paper .

I've been wanting to make these wreaths for awhile now but was intimated by them. Let me tell you, there is no need to be intimated. They are sooo easy and fun! I got instructions HERE but you could easily search for paper bow wreaths on Pinterest or YouTube for other instructions.

The wreath base was a 12" foam one you can get from any craft store. I used approximately 6 1/2 sheets of paper and the wreath took about 2 1/2 hours to complete...if you aren't a fan of football but feel obligated to watch with your sig other you could make 2 during the Super Bowl!

Now hop on over to Cassandra's Blog for more ideas of using up your stash.

  5. This paper looks wonderful as a wreath! I love it... I had this paper in my stash somewhere and it seems every time I pull it out, I put it right back where it came from... I haven't had much luck getting inspired to use it. I may just have to do this with that paper!!
