Everything ABC Blog Hop - "B"
Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter 'B'. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. I chose to use the versatile MyCreations Bracket Frame...with a banner for an extra shot of 'B.'
If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy. If you came from Lauren's Blog then you're on the right track!
I started out by cutting the bracket shape with my Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge using Cricut Craft Room to re-size it to 10.95" x 10.95". Once cut I traced the square opening and trimmed with a ruler and X acto knife. The paper, Ivy Lane, is from our up and coming Spring/Summer Idea Book available Feb 1 (message me if you would a copy).
Since I wanted to showcase the photo in the frame I kept my embellishments to a minimum. I colored the Color-Ready Canvas Alphabet with my Smokey Plum alcohol markers and covered the Dimensional Element Heart with coordinating paper from the Ivy Lane pack. The only stamping was the "Love" sentiment from the Art Philosophy stamp sets.
To decorate the outside of the frame I cut the banner title from the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge (p. 60) at 7". I also cut rosettes from the Artbooking Cartridge in sizes ranging from 3 1/2" to 6 1/2" (page 60) and finished it off with black Sparkle Fourishes! I'm still debating whether or not I want to add leaves by my rosettes in the lower right corner...what do you think?
Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Catherine's blog. Thanks for checking out my project!
Project Recipe (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):

Use Your Stash - Making Room For The New
Welcome to the Use Your Stash Blog Hop. If you are coming from Tabbi's Blog you are on the right track!
If you get lost along the way you can see the entire list of hoppers on Joy’s Blog. Let's get started.
Today I am showcasing a fun way to use your older paper with a rolled paper wreath! If you are a paper hoarder I suggest you make one of these (or better yet, one for each season). Not only will they be a beautiful addition to your home but you'll also use up some of that paper .
The wreath base was a 12" foam one you can get from any craft store. I used approximately 6 1/2 sheets of paper and the wreath took about 2 1/2 hours to complete...if you aren't a fan of football but feel obligated to watch with your sig other you could make 2 during the Super Bowl!
Now hop on over to Cassandra's Blog for more ideas of using up your stash.

Birthday Card - MojoMonday 328
I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch to create this quick and easy birthday card. It's going to my son's friend so I kept things very simple with a little tone-on-tone stamping.
The center square is a leftover chipboard piece from the Canvas WOTG a few months ago. The colors fit perfectly with the Pro-Player paper pack.
This is a standard A2 card. If you would like to re-create my measurements were 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" (B&T), 2 1/4" x 4" (Cardstock), 2" x 2" (Center Square).
Supplies (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper: White Daisy Cardstock, Pro-Player, Cranberry Cardstock, Slate Cardstock
Ink: Black, Cranberry
Stamp: Perfect Fit - Birthday
Other: Chipboard

A Cheery Card with Artbooking Overlays
Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop! This month there are 12 bloggers participating and all of us will be highlighting Cricut Artbooking Overlays! This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.
If you are coming from Marianne's Blog, you are on the right track! My mom recently had surgery on her foot so I wanted to make something bright to cheer her up.
I couldn't think of a better way than with a sunburst card! This card uses the Shift + Overlay function on page 81 of the Artbooking Cartridge. My card is an A10 size (9" x 3 3/4") so I knew I had to have a 9" length image.
All the images on the Artbooking cartridge are proportionate to the main layout or mini-album so I knew I had to use the Real Dial Size to get a true 9" image. Unfortunately after much playing it didn't work so I turned to the trusty Cricut Craft Room for help. It's pretty awesome that not only does CTMH give you a million different cuts to choose from (actually more like 700) but you can further manipulate each image in craft room to stretch it or break the proportion links to get the exact size you want.
Once I got the sizing right I finished the card with a stamp from a previous CTMH special, You Are My Happy and a little edge distressing. Now it's time to get it in the mail before my mom sees my post!
Supply List:
Paper: Babycakes (X7173B), Surf's Up (X7168B),
Ink: Goldrush (Z2123), Crystal Blue (Z2117)
Stamps: You Are My Happy
Other: Cricut Artbooking Cartridge (Z1906), Sponge Daubers (Z726), 3D Foam Tape (Z1151), Designer Cards (K&Company)
Thanks for stopping by. Please continue onto Terry's Blog where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique! Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping.

A Mix & Match Birthday Card
It's contest week at MojoMonday and in keeping with my 2014 goals I'm participating! This card uses a combination of Sarita papers and embellishments from the Babycakes Line. The scallop piece was cut from the Artiste Cricut Cartrige at 2 1/2" (p. 77).
I usually have a hard time mixing lines, but CTMH makes it easy with coordinating and complementing products. Now I need to step out of my comfort zone and use paper from different packs!
Thanks for looking!
Recipe:
Paper: Gypsy Cardstock, Sarita Level 2, White Daisy Cardstock, Lagoon Cardstock
Stamps: Cricut Artiste Collection Birthday
Ink: Outdoor Denim
Other: Cricut Artiste, Corner Rounder, Babycakes Assortment
